Your privacy is just as important to us as it is to you. Consequently we do everything in our power to protect your personal data, no matter whether you are a regular customer or a one time visitor . The CI Bookshop is responsible for processing your data. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data are collected and used and for what purposes. We recommend that you read this statement carefully.

Use of personal data

When using the services of our website we obtain a number of your data. We only use and save those data that are submitted by you yourself in the context of the services required by you or when it is clear that the data are submitted to be handled by us.

The following data are used for purposes as mentioned in this privacy statement:

Billing address
E-mail address
Payment details



For certain services on our website you have to register. When registered we will save the data you submitted via the username of your choice. The data are saved so that you will not have to enter them again on a next visit and for us to be able to contact you about the implemention of the agreement you concluded with us.

We will not provide third parties with the details linked to your username, unless this is necessary in the context of executing the agreement that you concluded with us or if this is required by law. In case of a suspected fraud or misuse of our website, we can present the competent authorities with the appropriate personal details.


Process order

When ordering on our website your personal details are used to process your order. Your details will also be handed to third parties if this is necessary to settle your order accurately. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.



Apart from informing you about our products and services on our website we can also keep you up to date of new developments through your e-mail. 


Contact form and newsletter

We offer the opportunity to ask questions via our webshop through a contact form, whereby you are asked to enter various details so that we can handle your question. You yourself choose which data you provide. The data that you send to us will be kept for as long as the nature of the form requires or untill the question in your e-mail can be fully processed and answered.

We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and services. Every newsletter contains a link that you can use to unsubscribe. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission.



We do not publish your customer data.


Distribution to third parties

We can pass on your details to our partners who are involved in the implementation of our agreement with you. These partners may be based outside the EU, in which case we have strict agreements with them to comply with European privacy rules.

Social media buttons are included in our webshop. With these buttons, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.


The CI Bookshop makes use of cookies. Cookies are also placed by third parties that we enable on our webshop. When you visit our online shop for the first time, a message is displayed in which we explain why we use cookies. We view your further use of our webshop as permission for the use of cookies. You are free to disable cookies through your browser. Keep in mind that if you do so our website might no longer work optimally.
