At this fun and almost free conference for language teachers, Authors of CI Novels you are already teaching or are in your classroom library are going to teach a really cool hook for their book — in Spanish or French that you can use in your class. Use the content and teach it yourself, OR show the video to your class while you sip coffee so students will want to read the book and you can rest your voice. The videos will be in the target language, at the same level as the book they refer to. 

The entire series of author presentations is meant to bring play and joy to reading. Nothing heavy or cumbersome for this November get-together. Bring coffee or your favourite beverage and participate in lessons by authors and then chat with other teachers as you brainstorm. Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday (US time zone). For EUROPEAN teachers, the sessions on Thursday and Friday will be in the middle of the night. The videos will remain accessible, though, so no worries! The weekend sessions will be in the afternoon, European time.
