Her mother is always on her back and her family doesn't have much money. Her best friends' families are very rich, though, which makes her extremely jealous. When she gets the opportunity to go to Switzerland, she ends up in a small city where she stays with a very nice family that has similar conflicts to the ones her own family struggles with. Her view of life changes radically and when she gets back home, she sees everything in a different light.
