Advanced readers often need a more exciting, challenging story. This is a detective story set in present-day Mexico, but in which it seems that the ancient Aztec god Tezcatlipoca is responsible for various deaths. Police officer Rodriguez and journalist Casanova are investigating, but that is definitely not without danger. Then they find a mirror that leads them to an ancient Aztec god. Surely this god cannot possibly be responsible for the enigmatic events? The threat becomes more pressing. Can they prevent their own death?
