Leslie Corrales is a journalist and a single mom. When her boss asks her to write an article about the situation in dictatorial Argentina, she hesitates to leave her sons alone for several weeks. But it seems a great development in her career and she decides to travel to Argentina. Once there, she investigates the suspicious disappearance of a young man called Raúl. Leslie discovers that Raúl has suffered horrific atrocities at the hands of the Argentine government, along with tens of thousands of others. Before long, she starts to become the focus of the Argentinan authorities' attention herself. Will she escape with her life and with the information she needs to help the Argentine people?
